About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital asset trading technology firm seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join their Infrastructure team in London for Summer 2027. This is a 12-week internship where you'll work alongside experienced engineers building and scaling systems that power institutional-grade trading platforms.
Our client values engineers who understand that building great systems takes time and prioritize safety, security, and performance. You'll collaborate with teams who emphasize strong communication and getting things done in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, maintain, and scale infrastructure systems
- Contribute to automation initiatives including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment tooling
- Support production system performance through monitoring, logging, and observability improvements
- Communicate cross-functionally to understand and implement infrastructure requirements
- Participate in an open and transparent engineering culture
What We're Looking For
- Class of 2028 pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar
- Familiarity with Linux systems, shell scripting, and/or networking fundamentals
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Interest in distributed systems and platform engineering
- Demonstrated development experience through coursework, projects, or previous internships
- Experience in crypto or finance, or strong desire to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Local to London
