About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consultancy in the Frechen area seeking a dual study candidate for a Data Engineering program. You'll combine academic studies at FOM University with hands-on experience building modern data solutions and cloud-based platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career working with real client projects while earning your degree in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik).

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Python, SQL, and Databricks for data engineering tasks
• Work with large datasets, data pipelines, and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
• Gain exposure to software development principles, including structured application design and maintainable code practices
• Contribute to client projects with increasing levels of responsibility as your skills develop
• Complete your dual studies program at FOM University with focus areas in computer science, business, and modern technologies
• Optionally pursue IHK certification as a Fachinformatiker/Fachinformatikerin for Application Development

What We're Looking For

• Educational requirements for dual studies program (Abitur or equivalent), ideally with strong performance in mathematics, computer science, or natural sciences
• Genuine interest in IT, data, and modern software and data solutions
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to share knowledge and support team objectives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German, with ability to ask questions, contribute ideas, and provide feedback
• Motivation to learn continuously, develop professionally, and help shape technological change
• Structured work approach with reliability in meeting commitments and taking ownership of assigned tasks
