About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare IT organization in their search for an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business development across the German hospital market. This role focuses on bringing innovative digital solutions to acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and university medical centers throughout Germany.
Our client is an established leader in healthcare digitalization with nearly four decades of experience serving hospitals across the DACH region. You'll join a collaborative sales team responsible for strategic positioning of hospital information systems, operating room management solutions, emergency department software, and managed services.
This position is based in München with flexibility to work from Berlin, Hannover, Leipzig, or remotely up to three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead new customer acquisition targeting acute care hospitals, mixed-service facilities, and rehabilitation clinics across Germany
- Develop and execute strategic positioning of software solutions with C-level decision-makers and clinical leadership
- Present hospital information systems and integrated solutions with clear focus on customer value, process optimization, and efficiency gains
- Prepare, develop, and negotiate complex software proposals in coordination with technical and product teams
- Manage public sector tender processes and RFP responses in collaboration with bid management colleagues
- Build and maintain an active network within hospitals, industry associations, and partner organizations through conferences, trade events, and professional forums
- Drive the complete sales cycle from initial outreach through relationship development to contract closure
What We're Looking For
- Several years of proven software sales experience within healthcare IT, ideally with exposure to hospital software or clinical applications
- Deep understanding of hospital processes, organizational structures, and decision-making hierarchies in healthcare environments
- Established relationships with university hospitals and maximum care providers in Germany
- Active network within healthcare industry associations and professional bodies
- Demonstrated success managing public procurement processes and tender submissions in the healthcare sector
- Confident, professional presence with strong customer orientation and proven ability to close complex enterprise deals
- Fluency in German is required; this is a German-language sales role serving the German hospital market
