About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential legal technology organization in Germany seeking a founding-level senior attorney to help build their market presence from the ground up. This role combines traditional client-facing partnership responsibilities with the opportunity to shape the commercial growth of an AI-driven legal services platform. You'll bring your established client relationships onto a proprietary technology platform while serving as both a rainmaker and strategic advisor to the founding team.
Responsibilities
- Transition and continue serving your existing client portfolio on an AI-enabled legal platform
- Generate new business opportunities through your private equity, venture capital, and mid-market network
- Cross-sell commercial and compliance legal services to your current client base
- Work closely with the founding team to migrate recurring legal matters onto automation tools
- Contribute to strategic decisions as a founding equity-holding partner
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of experience at partner level at a top-tier German law firm, with focus on PE/VC and corporate work
- German-qualified Volljurist with active Rechtsanwalt bar admission
- Portable client book of €1M+ in annual billings, weighted toward PE/VC clients and their portfolio companies
- Diversified client base across multiple sectors and company sizes (not dependent on a small number of large institutional clients)
- Book containing recurring, automatable work such as commercial contracts, IT and data matters, corporate/VC advisory, or regulatory issues (not litigation-only)
- Achievable transition path with notice period and client migration feasible within approximately 6 months, without restrictive non-competes
- Native German and professional English fluency
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as large language models or legal AI platforms in daily practice
- Dr. iur. or LL.M. qualification is a plus
- Germany-based and fully work-authorized; visa sponsorship is not available

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: €200,000 to €300,000 annually, plus meaningful equity participation.
