Werkstudent Einkauf für Tiefbau- und Planungsleistungen im Glasfaserausbau (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential infrastructure organization expanding fiber-optic networks across Germany. As a working student in procurement, you will support the acquisition of civil engineering and planning services. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with operational and strategic procurement activities for large-scale infrastructure projects, from sourcing services to order processing and documentation
• Supporting tender processes by preparing documentation, collecting proposals, reviewing and comparing offers, and assisting with award decisions and contract negotiations
• Conducting market research on pricing, suppliers, and offers; maintaining procurement, supplier, and contract databases
• Creating analyses and presentations to support procurement decisions
• Collaborating with technical, planning, project management, and controlling departments to optimize procurement workflows
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and small projects after your onboarding period

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, or a comparable program with interest in procurement for civil engineering and planning services
• Ideally, prior practical experience from internships or working student positions; enthusiasm for procurement processes and commercial operations
• Careful, structured, and reliable working style
• Basic understanding of and interest in technical, organizational, and legal processes related to civil engineering and planning services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate openly with colleagues and external partners
• Team-oriented mindset with initiative to quickly learn new topics
