Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential civil engineering organization in Düsseldorf seeking a Kalkulator (m/w/d) to join their team. In this role, you will:
- Prepare cost estimates for civil engineering, road construction, and infrastructure projects
- Create bills of quantities and perform quantity take-offs using digital measurement tools
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop tender calculations and contract cost estimates
- Participate in contract negotiations and prepare variation cost assessments
- Coordinate with project management and procurement teams
What We're Looking For
Our client requires candidates with:
- Degree in civil engineering or qualification as a construction technician (Bautechniker)
- Proven experience in cost estimation within civil engineering or infrastructure construction
- Proficiency with modern estimation software such as iTWO, RIB, or Nevaris
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and cost awareness
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level)
This position offers digital measurement workflows, modern software tools, flexible working arrangements including home office options, 30 vacation days, and a company car or mobility allowance. The role is primarily office-based with remote work flexibility.

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: €75,000–€105,000 annually, with performance bonuses for successful projects.
