Internship Process & Operations – Energy (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cleantech organization in Berlin that is building digital infrastructure for the energy transition. Our talent team is seeking an Operations Intern to support process optimization and product rollout within their Energy Operations division.

This is a hands-on internship where you'll work directly with cross-functional teams on scaling energy solutions, coordinating with installation partners and grid operators, and analyzing operational workflows. You'll gain real-world insight into how digital energy products are delivered to thousands of end users.

Responsibilities

• Support the Energy Operations team with day-to-day project work on digital energy product initiatives
• Assist in scaling a dynamic electricity tariff product through operational execution
• Coordinate independently with internal stakeholders (local installation teams) and external partners (grid operators)
• Analyze and optimize operational processes using data-driven approaches
• Take ownership of a defined project after onboarding, executing under supervision of your manager
• Prepare presentations and documentation for Product Owners
• Evaluate KPIs with your team and derive actionable measures for improvement

What We're Looking For

• Availability for a minimum 4-month internship, ideally 6 months
• Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level) – essential for this role
• Motivation to contribute to the energy transition and solve operational challenges
• Comfort working with data and analytical processes
• Eagerness for a steep learning curve and openness to feedback
• Prior experience in the energy sector is a bonus but not required – we value motivation and willingness to learn
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed relevant studies
