Werkstudent:in – Social Media / Content Creation

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food-tech organization in Berlin that is revolutionizing plant-based nutrition. Our client is seeking a working student (Werkstudent:in) to drive social media content creation and support their digital marketing efforts. This role offers hands-on experience creating engaging content for Instagram Reels and TikTok while working closely with an innovative e-commerce and marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Create authentic video content for social media platforms, with primary focus on Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Appear on camera to represent the brand with a natural and engaging presence
• Edit recorded videos independently using CapCut
• Design supporting visual assets using Canva and modern AI tools
• Monitor daily social media trends and identify viral formats for implementation
• Collaborate with the performance team to shoot and edit performance ads
• Develop new hooks and creative concepts for target audiences
• Work closely with the Social Media Manager and broader marketing team on both organic content and paid campaigns

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a student in Marketing, Design, Communications, Media Studies, or equivalent field with at least 1 year remaining
• Demonstrated experience creating social media content with a verifiable personal account or portfolio
• Strong smartphone shooting skills including understanding of lighting and framing
• Proficiency in fast-paced short video editing, particularly with CapCut
• Comfortable appearing on camera with natural, authentic on-screen presence
• Deep passion for social media, especially Instagram and TikTok, with keen eye for digital trends and visual aesthetics
• Very good German language skills at C1 level and good English at C1 level
• Available for 15-20 hours per week
• Based in Berlin or surrounding area with ability to work on-site at least 50% of working hours weekly
• Interest in health-oriented food industry and plant-based nutrition
• Thrives in fast-paced scale-up environment with proactive communication style

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on experience level and university enrollment status.
