EDI Mapping Specialist – with e-invoicing (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization that specializes in B2B integration solutions. Our talent team is seeking an EDI Mapping Specialist with e-invoicing expertise to join their Integration Engineering function. This is a remote-first role available across multiple European locations including Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.

In this position, you will focus on technical mapping work—analyzing and creating convertible data formats and protocols that enable seamless data exchange for enterprise clients. You'll work primarily with your engineering colleagues rather than directly with customers, allowing you to concentrate on the technical challenges of EDI and e-invoicing implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement EDI mappings and e-invoicing solutions from project initiation through ongoing support
• Analyze and create data format conversions and protocol mappings to facilitate B2B data exchange
• Apply country-specific e-invoicing regulations to mapping structures and ensure compliance
• Support Integration Engineering colleagues in customer project planning and execution
• Troubleshoot mapping issues using structured problem-solving approaches
• Maintain clean documentation and manage work through ticketing systems
• Collaborate with the technical team to refine mapping processes and standards

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with structured data formats including CSV, XML, and JSON
• Demonstrated proficiency with EDI mapping tools such as Altova MapForce, Seeburger BIS, or Lobster
• Proven experience implementing e-invoicing country regulations within mapping frameworks
• Strong technical English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Critical thinking ability applied to mapping processes and technical problem-solving

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with EDI standards such as EDIFACT or ANSI X12
• Technical college diploma, higher IT education, or equivalent EDI work experience
• Basic programming skills for troubleshooting purposes

Pay
