Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise conversational AI organization seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Agent, Admin and Supervisor Experience team. This is a fully remote position based in Germany, working with a distributed team of engineers across multiple countries.

In this role, you'll lead frontend architecture evolution while contributing across the full stack, working on projects that enhance how brands engage with their customers through messaging platforms. You'll have the opportunity to shape AI-driven engineering practices and mentor team members while building scalable, user-facing features.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of the core UI platform using micro frontend architecture for scalability and maintainability
• Champion AI-driven engineering practices across the organization by defining best practices, evaluating AI-powered development tools, and establishing workflows that improve productivity and code quality
• Mentor teams on leveraging AI effectively while maintaining engineering excellence, security, and maintainability
• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code while actively participating in code reviews
• Design and implement innovative, user-facing features, including those integrated with generative AI technologies
• Create robust, testable, and performant solutions using Vue.js, Node.js, Java, and other modern technologies
• Take ownership of features from concept and UI design through back-end implementation, testing, and deployment
• Drive continuous improvement of product functionality, performance, and scalability
• Mentor and guide junior developers to foster professional growth
• Contribute to development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and work with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C#, etc.) and Node.js
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive experience with frontend web technologies: Vue.js (preferred) or React.js
• Strong experience with Micro Frontend Architecture and practical implementation
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire web development lifecycle from design through post-deployment support
• Deep expertise in applying Generative AI throughout the software development lifecycle, with a track record of improving engineering productivity and quality
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies (Docker)
• Expertise in writing clean, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices
• Ability to write unit and integration tests for both front-end and back-end components
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex issues and develop efficient solutions
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to mentor and support junior developers
• Willingness to participate in paid on-call duty (one week every second month)
