Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Senior Brand & Visual Designer for a two-year parental leave cover in Berlin. This is a unique opportunity to shape visual identity across all channels as the sole designer in the team, working with high autonomy and direct collaboration with leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and evolving the visual brand identity from creative concepts through to consistent execution across all digital and physical channels
- Collaborating closely with content, PR, sales, partnerships, and product teams to ensure visual consistency and brand coherence across all touchpoints
- Designing assets for diverse formats including web, mobile, social media, email, presentations, and print materials
- Creating icons, illustrations, and simple animations to support brand storytelling
- Designing trade show presence, event materials, and promotional items aligned with brand guidelines
- Supporting executive leadership and partnership teams with presentation design, translating complex messages into clear, compelling, and brand-appropriate slides
- Maintaining and evolving sales pitch master templates
- Presenting creative concepts confidently to senior stakeholders including the Head of Brand and CEO
- Taking ownership of projects from initial concept through execution while managing multiple priorities independently
- Exploring and implementing new technologies, particularly generative image and video tools
What We're Looking For
Our client requires a designer with substantial B2B experience who can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. The ideal candidate brings:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in B2B brand and graphic design within a dynamic fintech environment, specifically with in-house brand team experience
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating brand sensibility and ability to deploy creative content effectively across channels
- Strong conceptual thinking and clear communication skills, with ability to present ideas persuasively, provide constructive feedback, and coordinate confidently with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and self-direction, able to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive initiatives from concept to completion independently
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and interest in emerging technologies
- Practical experience with generative AI tools is highly valued
- Passion for strong branding and enthusiasm for testing new creative approaches and challenging existing methods
- Motion design experience with 3D animations or animated videos is a plus
