Our talent team is representing a leading digital technology consultancy in their search for a Senior iOS Developer. This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring two days per week on-site. Our client works on complex, business-critical transformation projects across multiple industries, delivering intelligent digital products and services from strategy through to deployment.

We're seeking a self-motivated Senior Developer with deep iOS expertise who can drive end-to-end development of high-performance mobile components. While iOS is the core focus, our client values engineers who are curious about the broader mobile ecosystem and open to working with cross-platform frameworks when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver complete features and subsystems for iOS applications
  • Optimize app performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across production environments
  • Lead delivery of specific features or workstreams from conception to deployment
  • Present technical demos to stakeholders and explain architectural trade-offs in accessible language
  • Mentor junior developers in both technical craft and development processes
  • Build and maintain clean, scalable SDKs for cross-team adoption
  • Champion engineering best practices including pair programming, TDD, code reviews, and CI/CD
  • Contribute to recruitment and community-building initiatives

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Strong programming expertise in Swift with proven production experience
  • Hands-on proficiency with Xcode, Git/GitHub, XCTest, and XCUITest
  • Deep understanding of modular app architecture and scalable patterns such as MVVM
  • Experience building and integrating well-documented SDKs
  • Solid grasp of Swift concurrency models including async/await, GCD, and Operations
  • Excellent communication skills with focus on cross-functional collaboration
  • Active advocate for software excellence through automated testing and CI practices
  • Familiarity with or exposure to cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of mobile security principles including secure data storage and authentication
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Fastlane
