(Senior) CRM Manager (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential renewable energy e-commerce company based in Germany. They're scaling rapidly in the consumer clean-tech space and need a strategic CRM professional to own the entire customer lifecycle—from lead activation through long-term retention.

This is a high-impact role where you'll build and optimize multi-channel communication funnels (email, WhatsApp, SMS) that directly influence revenue and customer lifetime value. You'll work closely with performance marketing to convert paid leads into customers and create retention strategies that turn first-time buyers into loyal advocates.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute scalable CRM strategies with measurable impact on revenue and customer lifetime value
• Build, test, and optimize email, WhatsApp, and SMS flows across the entire customer journey
• Collaborate with the performance marketing team to develop nurturing sequences that systematically convert paid leads into customers
• Create retention flows that drive repeat purchases, reduce churn, and build customer loyalty
• Write conversion-focused copy leveraging psychological triggers, storytelling, and customer psychology
• Analyze customer behavior data, run A/B tests, and continuously iterate based on performance metrics
• Provide strategic input on creative and copy for paid advertising to improve funnel economics
• Monitor and optimize retention KPIs including CLTV, churn rates, and cohort performance

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling email automation flows and multi-channel CRM campaigns
• Background in funnel or performance marketing with hands-on lead nurturing experience
• Strong copywriting skills with demonstrated ability to write high-converting, psychologically-informed messaging
• Expert-level proficiency in Klaviyo, including advanced segmentation, flow logic, and analytics
• Solid understanding of Shopify event structures and e-commerce data architecture
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret tracking setups (UTMs, attribution, event tracking) and derive actionable insights
• Fluency with retention metrics: CLTV, churn analysis, cohort behavior, and performance attribution
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with ability to identify opportunities independently
• Fluency in German required; strong English skills preferred
