Talent Intake Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential recruiting organization seeking a Talent Intake Specialist to join their remote team. This role puts you on the front lines of candidate engagement, conducting high-volume virtual intake calls and creating exceptional first impressions for technical talent entering the pipeline.

As the first point of contact for candidates, you'll run structured screening conversations, assess qualifications and interest, and ensure smooth handoffs to senior recruiters. This is an excellent entry point into full-cycle recruiting with clear growth potential.

Location: Remote (United States; PST working hours required)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily virtual intake calls with candidates via Zoom or phone in a high-volume environment
• Capture and record candidate information accurately in the CRM/ATS
• Screen candidates for qualifications, interest level, and availability against open opportunities
• Guide candidates through next steps and coordinate handoffs to recruiting team members
• Represent our client professionally and enthusiastically on every candidate interaction
• Track daily performance metrics and continuously optimize conversion and engagement rates

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, recruiting, sales, marketing, or a similar candidate-facing role
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage candidates, build rapport quickly, and represent organizations professionally
• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-volume environments with multiple priorities
• Tech-savvy and resourceful; proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and Boolean search techniques
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation; takes ownership of responsibilities and meets deadlines consistently
• Growth mindset with eagerness to learn, adapt, and improve processes
• Resilience and persistence; thrives under pressure and embraces challenges
• Highly detail-oriented and organized with strong commitment to confidentiality
• Collaborative team player who works effectively with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners
