About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT services organization seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join their team in Laatzen, Germany. This role offers the chance to take ownership of infrastructure projects while working with diverse client environments across the Hannover metropolitan region.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of IT infrastructure projects and sub-projects for client organizations
• Provide technical consultation to clients regarding IT services and solutions
• Manage server, storage, network, and IT security environments
• Install and administer Microsoft Server systems and Microsoft/Apple client systems (physical and virtual)
• Design and maintain Windows network services and infrastructure
• Handle procurement, installation, and documentation of IT systems according to client specifications
• Perform analysis and troubleshooting across client environments

What We're Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship as Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration or comparable qualification/degree
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a systems administrator, ideally within an IT services environment
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 environments
• Solid knowledge of network technologies (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN)
• Extensive experience with Windows Server and client operating systems in enterprise environments
• Good understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly Hyper-V (VMware or Proxmox experience also valued)
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) is desirable
• Familiarity with alternative operating systems such as Linux is a plus
• Strong communication skills, including ability to present to clients professionally
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent service orientation
• High motivation, confident presence, and strong teamwork abilities
• German language proficiency required for client interaction
