Finance and Accounting Intern

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial technology client in their search for a Finance and Accounting Intern based in Berlin. Our client is transforming traditional supply chain operations through advanced AI systems, operating across multiple European markets with strong growth momentum and recent institutional backing.

This internship offers hands-on experience in financial operations within a fast-scaling technology environment, where you'll work alongside cross-functional teams and gain exposure to international business finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support financial analysis by gathering and analyzing data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
• Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions by processing invoices, payments, and receipts
• Assist in tax filing preparation and compliance activities, including documentation gathering and form completion
• Collaborate with Growth, Operations, and Technology teams on financial projects and initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Excellent English and German language skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
