About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthtech organization seeking a Language Specialist for UK English on a working student basis in Berlin. Our client is developing AI solutions for healthcare professionals, and you'll play a crucial role in ensuring their UK English language models meet the highest standards of accuracy and cultural relevance.
Responsibilities
- Review and ensure quality of voice input and text data through regular audits, error correction, and dataset maintenance
- Provide UK English localization expertise for AI-driven healthcare applications
- Analyze linguistic data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities
- Document and share knowledge about UK English variations and cultural nuances with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related language issues
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled at a German university in Language, Literature, Nursing, Biology, Medicine, or a related field
- Business fluent in UK English (C2 level) with strong command of both spoken and written communication
- Deep understanding of UK cultural context and linguistic intricacies
- Genuine interest in healthcare topics and terminology
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to handle repetitive tasks accurately
- Self-motivated and reliable with strong time management skills
- Excellent team player comfortable in interdisciplinary environments
- Available to work 20 hours per week
