Software Engineer – New Grad

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI technology client seeking a Software Engineer - New Grad in London. From day one, you will own meaningful, customer-facing work — shipping products, talking directly to the customers who use them, and iterating fast.

Example projects you may work on include:

• Building reinforcement learning and post-training data pipelines that power frontier model development
• Developing evaluation infrastructure that measures model reliability for enterprise and public sector customers
• Shipping agentic AI applications and the tooling that makes them observable, testable, and safe to deploy
• Creating tools that accelerate the growth of new qualified contributors on the platform
• Building fraud-detection systems that remove bad actors and maintain platform integrity
• Using models to estimate the quality of tasks and contributors, guaranteeing quality on requests at large scale
• Devising advanced matching algorithms that pair contributors to customers for optimal turnaround and accuracy
• Creating optimized and efficient UI/UX tooling, in combination with ML algorithms, for large-scale task completion
• Developing new AI infrastructure products to visualize, query, and explore data
• Building customer service RAG applications that handle thousands of questions daily
• Integrating cutting-edge ML models that predict churn into customer retention systems

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• A graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, Statistics)
• Product engineering experience such as building web apps full-stack, integrating with relevant APIs and services, talking to customers, and iterating on solutions
• Previous Product/Software Engineering internship experience
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale
• Experience building systems that process large volumes of data
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, and/or MongoDB

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, evaluations, or agentic systems — whether from internships, research, or personal projects
• Open source contributions or a portfolio of shipped side projects
