Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential education-technology organization in Cologne that is seeking a working student to support their product management team with AI and automation initiatives. In this hands-on role, you will work on real projects that directly impact products and customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, testing, and developing AI agents and automated workflows for practical application
- Researching, testing, and evaluating new AI tools and technologies to determine their relevance for products and customers
- Engaging directly with customers to understand their challenges and incorporating their feedback into product development
- Analyzing internal processes and the customer journey to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements in efficiency and scalability
- Supporting the product team in developing course content and integrating emerging AI topics, tools, and developments
- Creating and testing new AI use cases, then documenting them as practical applications and best practices
- Taking ownership of suitable projects and bringing your own ideas to implementation
- Presenting tools, workflows, and AI use cases on camera when appropriate, explaining them clearly to audiences
What We're Looking For
Our client is seeking candidates who are:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- Experienced with AI, automation, or digital technologies through studies, personal projects, or self-directed learning
- Actively engaged with the current AI tool ecosystem and have practical experience using tools like Claude, Perplexity, Cursor, or similar applications for projects and workflows
- Passionate about AI agents, automation, and intelligent workflows with enthusiasm for developing and implementing solutions
- Technically proficient with cloud applications, APIs, and digital tools
- Following AI developments actively through professional networks, trade publications, or other relevant sources
- Able to learn new tools, technologies, and topics quickly and independently
- Analytical thinkers who work in a structured manner while maintaining a strong hands-on approach
- Comfortable communicating with customers and explaining complex technical concepts in an accessible, solution-oriented manner
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken
Nice to have but not required:
- Practical experience with automation tools, workflow platforms, APIs, or AI agents
- Personal projects or experiments in AI and automation
- Experience creating content or learning materials
- Comfort on camera and enjoyment of explaining tools, workflows, and AI applications clearly
