Product Manager – Security

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization seeking a Security Product Manager to join their team in London. In this role, you will bridge technical security expertise with customer-facing communications, ensuring security becomes a competitive advantage.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Define the vision and roadmap for security products within a cloud platform environment
• Own ideation, prioritization, backlog management, and customer feedback processes for security features
• Guide new security features, systems, and services from inception to launch with a customer-centric approach
• Lead public-facing communications around security updates and compliance status changes
• Coordinate incident response messaging (email notifications, FAQs) in collaboration with senior security leadership
• Track and maintain a certification roadmap (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.) in partnership with CISO, GRC, compliance, and corporate security teams
• Take ownership of select security-related services within the cloud platform
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research on industry benchmarks, emerging security standards, and competitor certifications
• Collaborate with CISO office to gather technical evidence and implement enhancements that satisfy certification requirements
• Coordinate with multiple product managers to align security goals across product roadmaps
• Partner with customer-facing teams to address client security inquiries and optimize feature usage

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of Product Management or Program Management experience with a focus on security initiatives
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and their translation into business value
• Proven ability to communicate technical security concepts in clear, customer-friendly language
• Strong stakeholder management skills across product, engineering, CISO staff, marketing, and customer teams
• Analytical mindset with comfort defining success metrics (security feature adoption, trust metrics, certification progress)
• Project management capabilities with demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional collaboration on company-wide projects
• Experience gathering user feedback to guide continuous security improvements

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP
• Prior experience in regulated industries
• Prior experience working for a cloud service provider
