About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Senior Payment Partnerships Manager based in London. Our client operates a global payments platform serving major technology and commerce companies worldwide. They are experiencing significant growth and need an experienced partnerships professional to help scale their payment network.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week on-site in central London (Holborn area). You'll manage strategic relationships with payment providers across multiple regions, lead commercial negotiations, and drive initiatives that expand revenue and market reach.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop strategic partnerships with global payment providers, including local payment methods, card networks, acquirers, and financial institutions
- Lead or support high-value commercial negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial partnership outcomes
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver partnership-driven initiatives
- Identify and execute commercial opportunities to expand revenue, improve performance, and optimize costs across the payment ecosystem
- Represent the organization in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and strategic partner meetings
- Monitor partner and market performance, providing strategic insights for commercial planning
- Contribute to global knowledge-sharing initiatives that enhance operational excellence
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in payments, fintech, or financial services with a focus on strategic partnerships, acquiring, or local payment methods
- Proven track record managing complex partner relationships across multiple regions and cultures
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and supplier engagement
- Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed environment and influence stakeholders at all levels
