About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential online gaming organization seeking a Backend Development Intern to optimize payment flow routing. This internship offers hands-on experience building real-time decision systems that directly impact transaction success rates across multiple payment service providers.
This is a final-year Master's (M2) internship based in Paris, France, with strong potential for permanent employment upon successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Automatically retrieve, store, and maintain up-to-date data transmitted by payment service providers
- Build a real-time dashboard tracking success rates across different payment processors
- Implement a routing mechanism that leverages these metrics to select the optimal payment provider for each transaction in real time
- Bonus objective: Make sandbox environments accessible to non-technical users by abstracting provider-specific configurations
What We're Looking For
- Currently completing a Master's degree (M2) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong backend development skills with experience in Node.js and PHP
- Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and caching systems (Redis)
- Ability to work with distributed architectures and real-time data processing
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to performance and scalability
- Available for full-time internship in Paris
- French language proficiency preferred for team collaboration
