Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential gaming technology organization seeking a fullstack engineering intern to build a production-grade time-travel debugger for event-driven architectures. You will design and deploy a three-part operational tool:
- Ingestion and indexing at scale: Capture messages and state transitions, define a scalable storage model without impacting production systems
- Local test generator: Isolate event sequences, reconstruct state trees, and output automated non-regression tests
- Replay engine: Build an API and minimal back-office interface to visualize states and inter-service interactions graphically
Key technical challenges include managing data volume, ensuring chronological reconstruction fidelity, correlating events in distributed environments, and industrializing the tool through CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Final-year Master's student (M2 or equivalent) available for a full-time internship in Paris, France
- Strong fullstack development skills with experience in distributed systems
- Technical proficiency: JavaScript, React, DynamoDB, Kafka, S3, AWS, GitHub
- Understanding of stateless microservice architectures and event-driven design patterns
- Ability to work with message queues, state management, and debugging complex distributed workflows
- Problem-solving mindset for handling scalability, data correlation, and production constraints
- Fluent in French; this role is based in central Paris
