Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking an Analytics Engineer II to join their Financial Systems team in Poland. This is a remote position focused on building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers financial reporting, reconciliations, and business automation.

You'll work with modern data tools including dbt and Snowflake to create reliable, scalable data pipelines that serve as the foundation for accounting operations and downstream analytics. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models and core datasets supporting accounting reporting and automation workflows
• Strengthen platform reliability through comprehensive testing, monitoring, alerting, and runbook documentation
• Own data pipeline documentation and lineage to ensure changes are transparent and auditable
• Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues, implementing root-cause solutions
• Optimize Snowflake and dbt performance and cost efficiency to support organizational growth
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-tested, durable data assets
• Contribute to team best practices including version control, code review, documentation, and GitHub-based workflows

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles with production data systems
• Strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience building with dbt (modeling, testing, documentation)
• Proficiency with Git and pull-request based collaboration workflows (GitHub preferred)
• Experience with modern IDEs and collaborative debugging practices
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake strongly preferred)
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred:

• Familiarity with finance or accounting data concepts (close processes, reconciliations, ledger modeling)
• Experience with integration or automation platforms such as Workato or Fivetran
• Background supporting BI tooling and reporting layers
• Python skills for data manipulation and automation
• Experience with CI pipelines and automated quality gates
• Interest in responsible AI-assisted development within engineering guardrails
