Manager, GTM Engineering

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity SaaS organization seeking a Manager, GTM Engineering to lead technical innovation across their go-to-market teams. This established function sits at the intersection of software engineering and revenue operations, driving automation and AI capabilities that serve global sales and customer success teams.

Reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations, you will manage a team of 2 GTM Engineers while maintaining hands-on involvement in complex builds. Unlike traditional GTM Engineering roles, this position spans the entire customer journey with significant focus on customer success functions. You'll own the automation and AI roadmap while ensuring adoption and enablement of everything your team creates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of GTM Engineers who come from software engineering backgrounds
• Own the automation and AI roadmap for the GTM organization, making build-versus-buy recommendations
• Serve as subject matter expert on automation and AI technologies within GTM teams
• Build production-level automations using platforms like n8n that serve large global workforces
• Evaluate and implement appropriate LLM solutions based on desired outcomes
• Configure automation agency levels to balance human-in-the-loop needs appropriately
• Drive adoption and utilization of built solutions through enablement and feedback loops
• Identify and centralize grassroots innovations from GTM team members into shared capabilities
• Document solutions, processes, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing and scalability
• Contribute to analytics capabilities and understand semantic layer importance for GTM initiatives
• Own accountability for contributing to GTM metrics including pipeline generation for new logo and expansion

What We're Looking For

• Education or significant practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing software engineering teams
• 5+ years of experience as a GTM Engineer, Revenue Operations Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar technical role focused on GTM, Sales, or Customer Success systems
• Working fluency with LLM-based systems including prompting, agent design, and evaluation
• Applied understanding of ML concepts such as propensity and intent scoring
• Proven track record designing, building, and delivering complex technical solutions like custom applications, sophisticated integrations, and advanced automation workflows in GTM contexts
• Comfort with metric accountability and contributing to revenue-focused outcomes
• Familiarity with evaluating new GTM technologies and making strategic investment decisions
• Experience staying current with automation platforms, LLM updates, and emerging trends
