About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization serving the energy sector in Germany. Our client is seeking a Product Manager who brings genuine product thinking and the ambition to build something meaningful. This is not a corporate environment with endless alignment meetings—it's a direct role where you'll own a core product area, collaborate closely with engineering and design, and drive data-informed decisions onto the roadmap.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to digitalize complex workflows for enterprise customers, translating customer feedback, market analysis, and business goals into concrete features while knowing when to say no.

Responsibilities

  • Own your product area end-to-end—from strategy through delivery, with full responsibility for discovery, roadmap, and outcomes
  • Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams of engineers and designers, establishing clear priorities
  • Translate customer feedback, market research, and business objectives into actionable features
  • Leverage analytical skills and deep customer understanding to strategically position and differentiate the product in market
  • Make smart decisions based on KPI analysis, customer insights, and market data
  • Work hands-on when needed—reviewing small PRs, configuration changes, or testing directly in code to understand what's happening under the hood
  • Drive features from concept to launch while measuring their impact

What We're Looking For

  • Entrepreneurial mindset—you understand business goals and how your daily decisions influence them
  • Proven track record of features or products you've owned from idea to launch, with measurable impact you're proud of
  • Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholders: engineers, sales, leadership, and customers
  • Agility in responding to changing conditions and requirements, with a strong do-it mentality and comfort with unconventional approaches
  • Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for complex problems and conceive features the market needs
  • Team player who motivates and inspires colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Active use of AI tools in daily work—for research, prototyping, data analysis, or sharpening requirements—and understanding of how to integrate them meaningfully into the PM process
  • Experience with standard digital project and product management tools such as Jira, Figma, Miro, Power BI or similar
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
