Finanzbuchhalter / Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential multinational organization with operations across Europe. In this role, you will coordinate the preparation of German annual financial statements and oversee the full year-end closing process. You will monitor accounting and financial operations across regional offices, ensuring accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.

Your day-to-day work includes ensuring proper recording of daily sales, payment receipts, and financial transactions, as well as preparing and submitting financial reports and analyses for management in compliance with tax and corporate legal requirements. You will manage payments to suppliers, service providers, and for salaries and commissions according to company policies, while maintaining accurate financial records in ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory and fixed assets, supporting audits and financial reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls. You will coordinate with regional and central finance teams to ensure transparency and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting/finance, preferably in Germany
• Practical experience coordinating German annual financial statements
• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and tax compliance requirements
• Experience working with external tax advisors and auditors
• Background in financial operations, financial planning, budgeting, and reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual cycles)
• ERP experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, DATEV, or One Stop Shop
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken); Chinese language skills are a plus
