Manager, Talent Partner (HR Business Partner)  – Belfast Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal services organization seeking a Manager, Talent Partner (HR Business Partner) to join their global People team. This is a remote position that must be based in Northern Ireland.

In this role, you will be a key strategic partner to business leaders across international offices in the UK, Asia, and Australia. You'll be responsible for bringing out the best in people and helping the business deliver results in a values-driven way. Working alongside our client's Global Talent Partner Lead, you'll develop policy implementation, support best practices, coach managers and team members, and play a crucial role in people development across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with managers and leaders, advising and proactively anticipating their people needs including organizational structures, performance management, complex people issues, compensation recommendations, and serving as a thought partner on all people matters
• Own the team member experience from hire to retire, including scoping job roles, career development and coaching, running bi-annual feedback and development processes, managing promotion cycles, and analyzing exit and attrition trends
• Successfully resolve employee relations issues by providing counsel and direction for cyclical and ad hoc performance management, and advising team members on their development and career goals
• Empower and upskill managers, acting as a point of contact for HR issues and using sound judgment regarding escalation
• Help develop and implement strong diversity and inclusion practices across the business
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and oversee insights-based, output-oriented project work to ensure cohesive delivery of HR programs and services

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner role with experience across employee relations, recruitment, performance management, employment law, compensation practices, or organizational design
• Working knowledge of UK employment legislation
• Experience working with global teams
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to build credibility at all organizational levels
• Ability to use and interpret data and apply a data-driven approach to decision making
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking capabilities and quick turnaround on deliverables
• Meticulous organizational and planning skills

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience working with teams in APAC region
• Experience using HR/Talent Management Systems such as Workday or Culture Amp
