About This Opportunity
We are representing a high-growth mobile subscription infrastructure platform that processes billions in annual purchase volume and powers monetization for hundreds of millions of end users. Our client is a remote-first organization trusted by everyone from independent developers to major enterprise teams.
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical face of complex evaluations—often owning the entire conversation from first contact through implementation guidance. You'll combine deep product expertise with consultative selling, helping prospects understand integration patterns, build proof-of-concepts, and make confident decisions. On larger enterprise deals, you'll partner with account managers, but for most opportunities, you'll drive both the technical and commercial discussion.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and demos that connect SDK and API capabilities to business outcomes, diagnosing current setups and building light prototypes like replicated paywalls to make solutions concrete
- Manage inbound opportunities from initial contact through technical validation, providing fast, honest guidance that helps prospects reach the right decision—even if that means waiting or choosing another path
- Create scalable enablement content including videos, walkthroughs, and sample applications that help thousands of developers self-evaluate the platform
- Act as a feedback bridge between customers and internal product teams, surfacing common technical challenges and shaping new feature development, especially critical as the company launches standalone product experiences
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Growth to produce solution guides and launch materials that reduce evaluation friction and accelerate time-to-value
- Track and optimize the evaluation funnel, analyzing what accelerates decisions and measuring success by reduced time-to-value and confident production deployments
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as sales engineering, solutions architecture, or developer advocacy for SaaS or developer-tool companies
- Fluency with mobile development stacks and comfort reading/writing Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, Flutter, Dart, or React Native with TypeScript
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts like APIs and SDKs into business impact for both developers and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of how apps acquire, convert, and retain users with the ability to discuss monetization strategies intelligently
- Organizational discipline to manage multiple deals, demos, and content projects in a remote, asynchronous environment
- Bias toward shipping: you prefer a good solution today over a perfect one next quarter
Preferred:
- Experience supporting or closing enterprise SaaS deals and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Knowledge of subscription commerce, in-app purchases, or payments ecosystems
- Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion, Slack, Salesforce, and Looker
Success milestones: Within one month, you'll deliver your first solo demo. Within three months, you'll manage inbound deals end-to-end and launch your first enablement asset. Within six months, you'll have shortened evaluation cycles and published integration guides. After twelve months, you'll be the go-to resource for high-value prospects and mentor new team members.
