About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Manager to lead rooftop photovoltaic installations combined with battery storage and electric mobility infrastructure. This role is based in Frankfurt am Main and offers the chance to drive technical execution from planning through commissioning.
We are looking for candidates who can take full ownership of complex energy projects, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring quality delivery within budget and timeline parameters.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical implementation of rooftop PV systems (often exceeding 500 kWp), including battery energy storage systems (BESS) and e-mobility charging infrastructure
- Manage projects end-to-end: technical planning, construction phase, customer acceptance, and handover to service teams
- Coordinate all health, safety, and environmental protection measures on-site
- Ensure project goals are met regarding timelines, quality standards, and documentation requirements
- Own and optimize project budgets and cost control
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycle
- Present project status and progress to internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Degree in engineering (electrical, energy, or related discipline) or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience
- Proven experience as a project manager in industrial-scale installations, ideally with rooftop PV systems above 500 kWp
- Knowledge of grid integration for renewable energy systems
- Experience with EPC contracts, customer acceptance procedures, system certifications, and PV commissioning processes
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders
- Self-directed, structured, and responsible working style
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- Valid Class B driving license
