Legal Consultant – Financial Services

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Legal Consultant to support their operations in Hong Kong. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is working directly with this client to identify professionals with strong banking and regulatory compliance backgrounds who can provide commercially-focused legal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with business clients to provide guidance and practical solutions on banking matters
• Support legal matters including regulatory advice and contract drafting and review across investment banking practice areas
• Analyze new business initiatives and products from a legal perspective
• Monitor and ensure compliance with domestic and international legal requirements
• Promote compliance culture and awareness within the organization

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience in general banking, regulatory compliance, or banking finance
• In-house legal experience preferred (directly or as a secondee), though not essential
• Strong commercial understanding and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders
• Capacity to provide commercially tailored advice that aligns with business objectives
