About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential marketing services organization in their search for a Global Head of Analytics based in London. This is a senior leadership position overseeing a global team of approximately 80 analytics professionals across audience insight, creative performance analytics, social listening, measurement, search marketing, and paid social disciplines.

The role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and sits at the intersection of creativity, technology, and data. You'll work across multiple regions including Europe, APAC, LATAM, and North America, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2-3 days per week in London offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a globally distributed team of approximately 80 analysts and insight specialists, with six direct reports across disciplines and regions
• Build and sustain a high-performance, collaborative team culture across diverse, multi-disciplinary groups
• Define and evolve analytics methodologies, tools, and frameworks across search, paid social, social listening, audience insight, and measurement
• Own the analytics revenue line with accountability for delivering 10% year-on-year growth
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities, expanding services within existing client relationships and contributing to new business pitches
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to demonstrate and quantify the value of data-led decision-making
• Co-develop proprietary data products and analytics capabilities, particularly focused on creative effectiveness
• Lead scaling of Gen AI-enabled data products, including trend and competitor reporting tools and automated social reporting
• Ensure proprietary Gen AI platforms are optimally enabled by data and insight
• Target a five-point improvement in client NPS within the first year
• Build relationships with group-wide data leaders and contribute to broader data strategy and product development

What We're Looking For

• Significant senior leadership experience in analytics, data strategy, or related disciplines, ideally within creative agencies, media agencies, platforms, or technology businesses
• Proven track record building and scaling high-performing, multi-disciplinary analytics teams in global or multi-market contexts
• Demonstrable success growing revenue and commercialising data or insight propositions
• Experience developing and launching data products or insight tools, ideally in collaboration with technology partners
• Deep familiarity with the marketing analytics landscape: performance measurement, audience insight, social listening, search, paid social, and creative effectiveness
• Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to connect data to business outcomes for C-suite and board-level stakeholders
• Strong commercial instincts with experience identifying, shaping, and closing revenue opportunities
• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills capable of making complex data clear, relevant, and actionable
• Proven ability to lead and inspire distributed, culturally diverse teams across multiple time zones
• Experience navigating and influencing complex, matrixed organizations
• Genuine fluency in Gen AI and its applications in marketing and data, including hands-on experience building agents and agentic workflows
• P&L management experience across multiple markets or business lines
• Track record presenting financial performance to executive and board-level stakeholders
• Formal qualifications are welcome but not required; equivalent experience through work, independent research, or professional practice is valued
