About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mid-sized industrial technology organization in Bavaria that is taking a strategic step forward in artificial intelligence integration. Our client develops intelligent solutions for industrial and commercial applications and is now building their AI capabilities from the ground up.

This is not a traditional IT position. We're seeking an experienced AI professional who will work directly with executive leadership to establish AI initiatives, develop concrete applications, and rapidly transform ideas into practical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Build a long-term, practice-oriented AI strategy in collaboration with executive leadership
• Identify high-potential use cases for AI across departments and implement concrete solutions
• Analyze, develop, and deploy AI-powered process automations
• Integrate large language models and intelligent assistance systems into existing workflows
• Design new AI-enabled features and digital services around existing products
• Select and integrate appropriate AI tools, platforms, APIs, and technologies
• Develop prototypes and transition them into production-ready solutions
• Work closely with executive leadership and department heads to prioritize and execute AI initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Several years of experience in software development, AI, automation, or comparable technical environments
• Hands-on experience with modern AI technologies and large language models
• Practical experience with APIs, data processing, automation platforms, and systems integration
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures and digital processes
• Ability to independently develop prototypes and solutions
• Track record translating technical capabilities into concrete business applications
• Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with a strong hands-on mentality
• Structured, independent, and reliable work style with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
• Fluency in German required for this role

Particularly valuable:

• Background in automotive, software development, or technology sectors
