About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech client seeking an iOS Developer to join their team in Germany. This is a remote role for candidates already based in Germany.

Our client is building a next-generation mobile banking experience with AI-assisted features. You'll be joining a global team of over 20 nationalities working on a platform that serves millions of users across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship native iOS features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards and AI-assisted user journeys
  • Design and implement complex financial workflows that feel clean, fast and simple on mobile
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI engineering teams to take concepts from ideation through production release
  • Own app quality metrics including performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, responsiveness and release stability
  • Analyze production feedback, analytics and customer behavior data to continuously improve features post-launch
  • Integrate APIs, authentication systems, secure data handling and financial workflows with strong attention to reliability and security

What We're Looking For

  • Strong native iOS development experience using Swift
  • Proven track record shipping iOS applications to real users at scale
  • Deep understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await and iOS architecture patterns
  • Strong product sense with genuine care for user experience beyond just implementing features
  • Demonstrated ability to debug production issues and improve performance, reliability and overall app quality
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving quickly in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
  • Strong English communication skills for collaboration across global teams
  • Must be currently based in Germany

This role is not suitable for:

  • Engineers who require fully defined specifications before starting work
  • Developers who build features without considering end-user experience
  • Candidates who deprioritize edge cases, performance optimization or crash monitoring
  • Engineers who prefer slower-paced development environments
