About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential education technology organization that connects ambitious individuals with expert guidance and structured pathways to achieve their goals. Our client is seeking experienced College Admissions Coaches to work directly with students navigating the college application process.

This is a contract opportunity with flexible scheduling. Coaches set their own hours and rates, conduct sessions virtually, and work independently while partnering with our client's support team.

Location: United States (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Guide students through the complete college application process from initial exploration to final submission
• Support general exploration of schools and programs, including school selection and application strategy development
• Coach students on essay writing, supplementary materials, and resume building with detailed editing and feedback
• Provide secondary review of application components to ensure students submit polished, competitive materials
• Prepare students for admissions interviews and help them secure strong letters of recommendation
• Advise on financial aid, scholarships, testing strategies, and assessment preparation
• Develop waitlist strategies when needed and support students through decision periods
• Deliver a high-quality, supportive coaching experience tailored to each student's unique goals and circumstances

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of the college admissions landscape gained through experience as a former admissions officer, school counselor, or admissions industry professional
• Demonstrated track record of helping students submit successful college applications
• Clear, structured coaching approach that guides students effectively through high-stakes processes
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule while maintaining consistent quality
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and families
• Comfort working in a virtual coaching environment
• Commitment to helping students navigate a stressful process with empathy and professionalism
