About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential education technology client seeking experienced CISSP Tutors to work with professionals preparing for certification and advancing their cybersecurity careers. This is a remote, flexible opportunity for certified cybersecurity experts who excel at teaching and mentoring.
Our client connects ambitious professionals with expert tutors who help them achieve career milestones. As a CISSP Tutor, you'll guide clients through comprehensive exam preparation while helping them apply cybersecurity principles to real-world career growth.
Responsibilities
- Tutor clients preparing for the CISSP certification exam across all eight domains: Security and Risk Management, Asset Security, Security Architecture and Engineering, Communication and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security Assessment and Testing, Security Operations, and Software Development Security
- Create tailored study plans and test preparation strategies for each client
- Help clients build exam accuracy, pacing, and confidence
- Connect technical exam content to practical, real-world cybersecurity applications
- Guide clients on long-term career development in the cybersecurity field
- Host virtual tutoring sessions on your own schedule
- Deliver a high-quality, supportive learning experience for every client
What We're Looking For
- Active CISSP certification (required)
- Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring
- Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex cybersecurity concepts
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
- Practical cybersecurity experience that can be shared with clients beyond exam preparation
- Reliability and professionalism in client interactions
- Comfort with virtual teaching platforms
Location: Remote (United States)
Employment Type: Contract/Freelance (set your own hours and rates)
