Data Integration Lead

We are representing a confidential automation and digital transformation organization operating at global scale. Our talent team is searching for a Data Integration Lead to join their Mexico-based team in a fully remote capacity. This role sits at the intersection of mission-critical ETL operations and continuous improvement, supporting enterprise data pipelines that power decision-making across financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end resolution of DataStage production incidents and defects, including root-cause analysis, fixes, regression testing, and production deployment
• Implement and test enhancement requests and change requests within the DataStage environment, following SDLC and release management standards
• Design, develop, and optimize DataStage jobs and parallel jobs for both batch and real-time data integration scenarios
• Perform performance tuning of DataStage jobs, Oracle SQL queries, and UNIX processes to meet service-level agreements
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain production ETL pipelines; respond to operational alerts and follow incident management procedures
• Work with Control-M or equivalent scheduling platforms to design, monitor, and maintain job schedules, dependencies, and calendars; troubleshoot scheduling failures

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage, including job design, parallel jobs, parameterization, and shared containers (both developer and admin perspectives)
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL capabilities, with awareness of query tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies
• Solid UNIX/Linux skills: shell scripting, log analysis, file handling, and process troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with production job scheduling using Control-M or similar tools (job definitions, dependencies, calendars, alerts)
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve production ETL issues under SLA pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to trace data flow and isolate defects across interconnected systems
• Experience with version control, CI/CD practices, and deployment across development, test, and production environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish; comfortable in client-facing situations
• High-performance mindset: resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery

Desired:

• Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud data platforms
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures or AI-assisted development tools
