Retention Designer (Arg)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential eCommerce agency serving direct-to-consumer brands. Our talent team is searching for a Retention Designer based in Argentina to join their growing retention marketing practice.

This is a fully remote role focused exclusively on post-purchase customer journeys and lifecycle marketing campaigns. Unlike traditional site design roles, you will specialize in email and retention design—owning content strategy, visual hierarchy, and high-conversion interaction patterns that drive measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Design and conceptualize high-performing email campaigns and automated customer flows (welcome sequences, cart abandonment, win-back series) that reflect diverse client brand identities
• Apply email-specific best practices including mobile-first responsive design, clear visual hierarchy, and strategic call-to-action placement to maximize engagement and conversions
• Ensure all email designs meet technical requirements for dark mode rendering, accessibility standards, and deliverability-safe HTML coding
• Build and maintain design systems and reusable component libraries in Figma to ensure brand consistency across multiple client accounts
• Collaborate with copywriters and email platform specialists to execute projects from concept through deployment
• Present design rationales to clients, supporting creative decisions with data-driven insights and performance metrics
• Iterate quickly based on campaign performance data and stakeholder feedback while managing tight project timelines

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of graphic design experience with at least 2+ years dedicated to designing marketing emails for eCommerce or direct-to-consumer brands
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused email and lifecycle marketing work
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or similar email service provider platforms
• Proficiency with cloud-based design tools, particularly Figma
• Advanced understanding of email design best practices, including technical constraints and deliverability considerations
• Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus platform ecosystems
• Proven ability to manage multiple brand accounts and concurrent projects while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset for cross-functional team environments

Preferred:

• Background working in agency or multi-client service environments
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS as it applies to email design constraints
• Exposure to A/B testing methodologies and performance-driven design iteration
