Member Support Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client in their search for a Member Support Specialist. Our client serves major brands in the convenience retail and petroleum sectors, providing innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational performance. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States, working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Time.

As a Member Support Specialist, you'll serve as a frontline resource for program members, resolving inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency. You'll leverage your knowledge of payment and loyalty systems while collaborating across multiple internal teams to deliver exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities

• Address member inquiries professionally through email channels to build positive relationships and support long-term retention
• Monitor and manage email queue, responding to questions and concerns in a timely manner
• Resolve member issues efficiently while maintaining high standards of courtesy and urgency
• Follow up on inquiries by taking appropriate action to ensure complete resolution
• Support special short-term projects for new program launches and customized member initiatives
• Collaborate with management to maintain current product and program knowledge
• Handle confidential customer information with the highest levels of integrity and discretion
• Track systemic issues and report trends to management with actionable insights
• Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge and skills

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of helpdesk or call center experience preferred; any customer service background is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Proficiency with MS Office and typing skills (minimum 40 wpm)
• Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
• Exceptional integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
• Willingness to learn quickly and apply knowledge appropriately
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Technically literate with ability to adapt to various systems and tools
• Flexibility to work various shifts as business needs arise
