About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global logistics organization in their search for a Senior Director of New Business to lead strategic expansion across the United States. Our client is an established leader in automated warehousing and material flow systems, and this role will spearhead market development, revenue growth, and organizational build-out in North America.

This is a high-impact leadership position reporting directly to senior executive leadership, with full accountability for US market performance and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic expansion and growth of the organization's business operations throughout the United States
• Drive market entry initiatives, revenue generation, and overall business performance metrics
• Define and execute comprehensive sales and business development strategies for the region
• Develop and manage relationships with key customers and strategic partners across the logistics and automation sectors
• Build, recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing US-based team from the ground up
• Oversee complex customer projects, including commercial negotiations and contract execution
• Foster collaboration and alignment with the broader global organization across multiple regions
• Represent the organization in market-facing activities and with C-level stakeholders
• Contribute to global business strategy development and provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• 15+ years of leadership experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, material handling, or related industrial automation sectors
• Strong existing industry network and proven track record in business development and complex B2B sales cycles
• Demonstrated success driving substantial growth and closing strategic, high-value customer projects
• Experience building teams from scratch and leading high-performing organizations through growth phases
• Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong results orientation and accountability
• Exceptional customer focus, negotiation capabilities, and executive-level stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and ERP systems
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed
• Based in or willing to relocate within the United States
