Revenue Cycle Epic IT Application Team Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a Revenue Cycle Epic IT Application Team Lead. This leadership role oversees the day-to-day operations of a technical support team focused on Epic revenue cycle applications. You'll be responsible for queue management, triage, workload distribution, service quality, team coaching, and operational coordination across multiple stakeholders.

This position requires someone who can ensure reliable team performance, prioritize based on business impact, maintain clear communication, and develop analysts while building strong partnerships across Revenue Cycle operations, Epic build teams, vendors, and IT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary oversight for the support team's daily operations and queue health
• Triage incoming tickets and distribute workload effectively across team members
• Monitor service quality and ensure tickets move toward timely resolution
• Coach and develop team members to improve technical and operational skills
• Manage coverage, escalations, and operational coordination across departments
• Maintain strong working relationships with Revenue Cycle operations, Epic build teams, vendors, and IT leadership
• Ensure complete documentation of all support activities and resolutions
• Drive clear communication between technical teams and business stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading technical support teams in Epic revenue cycle applications
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle operations and Epic system functionality
• Demonstrated ability to triage, prioritize, and manage support queues based on business impact
• Experience coaching and developing technical analysts
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Track record of maintaining service quality while managing multiple priorities
• Ability to build collaborative partnerships across diverse teams and departments
• Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation standards
• Day shift availability in the United States
