Habitathorticulture seeks a dedicated Interior Plant Technician Living Wall Gardener to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. In this full-time role, you'll design, install, and maintain stunning living wall systems and interior plant environments that transform commercial and residential spaces.

Position Summary

As an Interior Plant Technician Living Wall Gardener at Habitathorticulture, you'll combine horticultural expertise with design sensibility to create and care for living plant installations. Your work will involve selecting appropriate plant species, designing integrated wall systems, and providing ongoing maintenance to ensure thriving, visually compelling plant environments that enhance interior spaces in and around Santa Clara.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and install living wall systems, green walls, and interior plant displays tailored to client specifications and environmental conditions
• Select, source, and prepare plant species based on light availability, humidity, and aesthetic requirements
• Perform regular maintenance including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest management to sustain plant health
• Monitor plant growth and adjust care protocols to optimize visual appeal and longevity
• Consult with clients to understand design goals and space constraints
• Install irrigation and hydration systems for living wall installations
• Maintain detailed records of plant species, installation schedules, and maintenance history
• Ensure safety protocols and best practices in all installation and maintenance work

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Interior Plant Technician, Living Wall Gardener, or similar horticultural role
• Strong knowledge of plant species, growing conditions, and care requirements
• Proficiency with living wall systems, vertical garden installations, and interior plant design
• Ability to work at heights and with specialized equipment safely
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing, and sustained hands-on work
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality plant care and installation standards
