Data Support Specialist I, CDS Operations

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global travel technology organization seeking a Data Support Specialist I to join their Client Data Solutions Operations team. This is a remote position based in the United Kingdom, working with an international team that supports enterprise reporting platforms and data integration systems.

As the first point of contact for support queries related to client reporting tools, you'll troubleshoot data issues, provide training, manage user access, and coordinate with technical teams across multiple time zones. You'll work with diverse data sources and ensure transactional information is properly processed into reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data investigations to identify discrepancies and recommend corrections
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and reporting tool issues, analyzing errors and communicating findings to stakeholders
• Set up third-party data exports and imports, ensuring proper data authorization documentation
• Resolve report queries by reviewing calculations, parameters, and underlying datasets
• Create and maintain user access for supported platforms including reporting tools, data quality services, and APIs
• Provide training and guidance on tool functionality and best practices to internal and external users
• Build collaborative relationships with global team members to support day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in a customer service or technical support role
• SQL proficiency and relational database knowledge
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Process reengineering skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a global, remote team environment
