Consultant, Hotel Spend Management

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global travel consultancy seeking a Consultant for Hotel Spend Management. This is a remote position based in Europe, working with multinational clients to optimize their corporate accommodation programs through strategic sourcing, data analysis, and supplier engagement.

Our talent team is searching for someone who can translate complex travel data into actionable client recommendations while managing multiple stakeholder relationships across consulting engagements. You'll be instrumental in developing strategic hotel programs that deliver measurable savings and enhanced program performance.

Responsibilities

• Support consulting engagement delivery through effective communication, documentation, and issue resolution across project teams
• Manage rate availability analysis, bid evaluation, supplier engagement, project tracking, and client-ready reporting
• Collect, analyze, and interpret travel and hotel program data using proprietary and third-party analytics tools to identify savings opportunities, trends, and operational efficiencies
• Develop reports, presentations, and deliverables that communicate complex data insights clearly to clients while maintaining high standards for accuracy and visual quality
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely, high-quality project outcomes
• Participate in process improvement initiatives that strengthen operations and elevate client experience

What We're Looking For

• Experience in client-facing consulting, customer success, hotel operations or sales, program management, or corporate travel roles
• Background working with hotel sourcing, procurement, travel program data, industry pricing, or supplier discount programs
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for analytical and presentation purposes
• Experience with data visualization tools or presentation software beyond standard office applications
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills for presenting complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with capacity to translate insights into actionable recommendations
• High emotional intelligence and collaborative mindset for building trusted relationships across diverse, global teams
• Proactive, consultative approach with passion for continuous learning and industry trends
• Background in management consulting, financial analysis, or travel industry management is helpful but not required
