Senior Technical Product Manager (Biometric Authentication)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential identity verification organization that is expanding their biometric authentication product line. This is a high-impact Senior Technical Product Manager role where you'll own the entire product lifecycle for a mature, enterprise-scale authentication solution serving major marketplaces and fintech platforms.

Biometric authentication enables silent re-verification, step-up authentication, and fraud prevention at critical moments in the customer journey. You'll be taking primary ownership of product strategy, roadmap execution, and commercial outcomes in partnership with machine learning, engineering, design, sales, and go-to-market teams.

This role requires someone who operates autonomously with minimal management overhead, defaults to cross-functional collaboration, and is comfortable experimenting and shipping fast in ambiguous environments. You'll make commercial trade-offs involving cost, conversion, and latency against live enterprise contracts without waiting for direction.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the biometric authentication product: strategy, roadmap, and execution across cross-functional squads
• Own a commercial metric (revenue, adoption, or conversion) and design customer research and process changes to close gaps alongside sales and GTM teams
• Make real-time decisions balancing cost, conversion, and latency trade-offs in live production environments with enterprise customers
• Convert enterprise customer feedback into a prioritized, defensible product roadmap
• Shape competitive positioning and pricing strategy grounded in unit economics and market landscape analysis
• Reach independent operation within approximately 60 days and immediately tackle highest-impact initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, marketplace, or authentication/security products
• Technical fluency with distributed transactional systems, machine learning operations, COGS modeling, and SDK delivery
• Ability to query, debug, and conduct root cause analysis independently (programming ability is a strong plus)
• Deep understanding of B2B2C user experience and how end-users interact within business products
• Proven track record thriving in scale-up environments with high ambiguity and fast pace
• Experience with authentication, security, or identity products preferred
• Previous software engineering or data science development experience is advantageous
• Comfortable treating adoption, conversion, and revenue as your own problems rather than managing feature backlogs
