We are representing a confidential digital health organization in their search for a Consultant Relations Director. This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on building and managing relationships with benefit consulting firms to drive revenue growth, pipeline development, and market expansion in the employer benefits space.

Our client is a recognized innovator in the healthcare technology sector, serving enterprise employers and health plans with a comprehensive clinical platform. This role offers the opportunity to shape consultant engagement strategy while working with a fast-growing organization that's transforming how employers approach employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for assigned consultant firms, including relationship mapping, engagement planning, and revenue goal achievement
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with benefit consultants and broker partners at all organizational levels, from individual consultants to executive leadership
• Generate new business opportunities and increase win rates across assigned consultant partnerships by influencing consultant-led sales cycles
• Support retention and expansion efforts by partnering with internal teams to leverage consultant relationships for successful renewals and growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure coordinated approaches across shared accounts
• Deliver actionable market intelligence from the consultant community to inform product development, positioning, and commercial strategy
• Represent the organization at industry events, consultant meetings, and hosted engagements to strengthen relationships and generate pipeline
• Travel approximately 20% to support in-person relationship building and strategic meetings

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, Communications, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in consultant relations, health and benefits consulting, or employee benefits-focused sales and channel partnerships
• Direct experience working within or alongside benefit consulting firms with strong understanding of how consultants influence purchasing decisions
• Demonstrated experience owning and executing consultant or broker engagement strategies with accountability for measurable outcomes
• Experience supporting or selling into mid-market and enterprise clients with 2,500+ employees
• Background in health tech, digital health, or employer benefits
• Proven track record of driving pipeline and influencing revenue outcomes, including new business and expansion
• Strong ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple departments
• Excellent consultative skills with ability to influence complex, multi-stakeholder decisions
• Experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategy and drive results
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and comfort with AI tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with union populations or complex benefit structures

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $140,000 - $177,000 USD base salary, depending on confirmed skills and experience. This role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, and parental leave benefits.
