About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential professional services organization seeking a Manager, Cyber Compliance to join their global technology risk function. This is a permanent, remote position based in Toronto, ON.

In this role, you will lead planning and execution of technology testing and assessment programs that strengthen cybersecurity and compliance posture across a complex, multinational environment. You'll work with technical subject matter experts to evaluate controls, identify enhancement opportunities, and drive remediation activities that reduce risk across enterprise systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform control assessments and complete remote/virtual onsite evaluations with technology subject matter experts across the organization
• Manage completion of assessment programs supporting identification of control gaps in end-to-end processes
• Recommend remediation actions and share insights and best practices proactively to reduce likelihood and impact of future risk events
• Track first line of defense remediation progress and communicate recommendations for corrective action
• Support development of remediation plans and ensure timely resolution of identified control deficiencies
• Coordinate compliance initiatives across teams in a large matrix-organization environment

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven experience in an IT risk-related role
• Strong working knowledge of IT Service Management lifecycle and IT controls
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skills
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff at all levels
• Experience coordinating across teams in large, complex organizational environments

Preferred:

• ServiceNow CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) Risk and/or Compliance certification or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Experience managing Business Continuity Management requirements
• Understanding of IT frameworks including ITIL and COBIT
• Knowledge of IT security standards including ISO27001

Pay

The client has indicated a salary range of $85,000 - $156,000 CAD for this position, with eligibility for bonus participation. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
