Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR DACH)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building modern financial infrastructure across the DACH region. Our client is at an exciting growth stage, establishing their business presence in Germany and requires a founding-level Sales Development Representative to architect their outbound motion from the ground up.

This is not a typical SDR role where you execute someone else's playbook. You will be the first SDR hire, working directly with senior sales leadership to build the entire outbound engine targeting SMB decision-makers including CEOs, CFOs, and Finance Directors. You'll have full autonomy to test messaging, map new personas, and establish the prospecting framework that future hires will follow.

Responsibilities

• Build and test cold outreach sequences from scratch across phone, email, and LinkedIn targeting German SMB decision-makers
• Experiment with outreach strategies for secondary personas including holding companies, VC/PE portfolio managers, and corporate service providers
• Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation by sourcing, qualifying, and booking high-intent discovery meetings
• Partner directly with sales leadership to document what works and establish templates and best practices for future SDR hires
• Select, implement, and optimize AI-native prospecting tools to automate research and personalize messaging at scale
• Gather market feedback from prospect interactions to refine product positioning and GTM messaging

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of outbound prospecting experience (SDR/BDR) in B2B fintech, SaaS, or financial services, preferably within the DACH market
• Founding or builder mindset: high agency, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by creating processes rather than executing existing ones
• Ability to speak the language of SMB founders and CFOs with strong interest in corporate treasury operations
• Tech-savvy and AI-native: active user of modern sales stacks and AI prospecting tools
• Tenacious and resilient: motivated by pipeline creation, testing new approaches, and iterating based on data
• Full professional fluency in German and English required
• Based in or willing to work Berlin hours; hybrid and remote arrangements available
