About This Position
As a Live Hanger at our Kinston Plant, you'll be an essential part of our processing line, working the 2nd Shift to keep operations running smoothly. Your work ensures the efficient flow of our poultry processing, maintaining the high standards Waynefarms is known for. This role requires focus, reliability, and the physical capability to meet production demands in a fast-paced facility environment. You'll be part of a structured team that values precision and safety in everything we do.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Hang live poultry on processing line conveyor systems with accuracy and consistency
- Maintain steady pace to meet line throughput targets
- Follow all safety and animal handling protocols established by Waynefarms
- Monitor equipment and conveyor systems for proper operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout your shift
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
Who We're Looking For
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks consistently in a production environment
- Willingness to work 2nd Shift hours reliably
- Basic understanding of safety procedures with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced facility
- Reliable attendance and strong punctuality
