Finance Operation Analyst

We are representing a rapidly growing, venture-backed healthcare technology organization in their search for a Finance Operations Analyst. Our client is transforming the pharmacy benefits space through innovative technology and cost-saving solutions. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will own essential day-to-day accounting operations including tax compliance, cash management, corporate card programs, and member reimbursement processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives on operational excellence and process ownership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file indirect tax returns accurately and on time
• Coordinate with filing agents to ensure timely and accurate state registration filings and compliance reports
• Manage the complete member reimbursement lifecycle, including processing physical checks, month-end reconciliations of outstanding items, and escheatment compliance
• Clear daily cash transactions and prepare comprehensive month-end cash account reconciliations
• Administer the corporate credit card program by coding expenses, booking transactions, and performing month-end reconciliations
• Support month-end close processes and ensure all deadlines are met

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of corporate accounting or operational accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger operations
• Proven experience with cash reconciliations, expense processing, and multi-state compliance requirements
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and meet critical monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and third-party vendors
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Experience with or ability to quickly learn modern accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or similar platforms

Pay

This position is remote within the USA. Compensation varies by geographic zone:

Zone A (San Francisco Bay Area, Metro NYC): $76,000–$90,000
Zone B (California outside SF Bay, Metro Denver, Metro DC, Metro Boston, Metro Austin, Metro Seattle): $70,000–$82,000
Zone C (All other US locations): $63,000–$75,000
