About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital health organization that is expanding its coaching team. Our client operates a personalized health platform that combines human expertise with technology to support members in building sustainable lifestyle habits. We're seeking experienced Health Coaches to join their remote team on a 1099 contractor basis.

This is a partner-focused coaching role where you'll guide members through their health journey across movement, nutrition, sleep, and recovery. You'll work with a dedicated caseload, delivering both live virtual sessions and ongoing messaging support, using member data to create personalized, actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage an end-to-end caseload of members from onboarding through 90-day milestones and beyond, ensuring each person feels individually supported
• Deliver coaching through virtual face-to-face sessions and day-to-day asynchronous messaging with warmth and professionalism
• Build personalized plans across fitness, nutrition, sleep, and recovery using member goals and health data
• Apply motivational interviewing and reflective listening techniques to help members identify their own motivations and action steps
• Contextualize health data including body composition scans and bloodwork within your scope, translating clinical information into practical daily actions
• Track member progress against collaboratively-set goals and celebrate behavioral consistency wins
• Contribute feedback and insights to help shape program evolution

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Health coaching certification from a recognized program (NBHWC-approved program, ACE Health Coach, Precision Nutrition L1, NASM Behavior Change Specialist, or equivalent) covering behavior-change theory, motivational interviewing, reflective listening, and foundational nutrition
• Associate's degree or higher (or equivalent experience-based path to coaching certification)
• 2+ years of client-facing coaching or training experience with the ability to run member sessions independently from day one
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume caseloads while maintaining personalized attention
• Ability to adapt coaching style for diverse populations across age, background, culture, ability, and health starting points
• Excellent written communication skills for warm, clear, professional messaging-based coaching
• Strong verbal communication and video presence for virtual sessions
• Experience synthesizing health data from nutrition apps and wearable devices into comprehensive plans
• Current residence in AZ, FL, GA, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, or UT (this is a location-restricted remote role)

Preferred qualifications:

• Personal training or strength credential (CSCS, NASM/ACE/ACSM CPT, or similar)
• Nutrition coaching certification such as Precision Nutrition
• Advanced degree in exercise science, physiology, kinesiology, or related field
• Experience collaborating with registered dietitians, nurse practitioners, or physicians in functional or integrative medicine settings
• Background serving premium or luxury clientele in concierge medicine, high-end fitness, or private club environments
• Specialized coaching expertise (performance, postpartum, pelvic-floor, eating-disorder-informed, etc.)
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience

Pay
